About Us:
Our goal as a social organization is to help new residents of the Pinehurst area cultivate new friendships and to become acquainted with their community. If you have been a resident for more than one year, please contact our President, Anyone who is a resident of the Pinehurst area for one year or less is invited to join, please contact Peg Bell pbell7018@gmail.com or 910-725-1366 to discuss membership.To join Newcomers, print and
complete the “Newcomers Application Form” from the link located on our home
page. The application, along with your
check, should be mailed to the address indicated on the form. If you have any questions or
would like additional information about our organization, please don’t hesitate
to email our membership chair, Debbie Brayton, dlvoliver2@yahoo.com or call 401-487-9213. If you leave your name, phone number, and a brief
message, Debbie will contact you as soon as possible. Our monthly newsletter (see
the link on our home page) details the many activities available to our members. Taking part in these activities makes the
transition to a new community so much easier by enjoying the friendship of
others.
Newcomers Board Meetings: Our Board meetings are held
at the Pinehurst Fire Station #91 on Magnolia Road and are scheduled for the
first Monday of each month at 5:30 PM.
If that Monday is a holiday (or there's a scheduling conflict), the
meeting will be rescheduled as time and space permits. Contact the current
President to confirm. All
members are invited to attend, however, only the Executive Board and Committee
Chairs may vote.
